Underdown offers a legendary network of rugged and challenging single tracks through the vast Lincoln County Forest. Featuring 4 lakes, 5 bermed boardwalks, and 64 hills, this trail system is perfect for adventurous cyclists. It blends old-school and machine-built trails and even overlaps a segment of the Ice Age Trail. Additionally, there’s a separate multi-use trail primarily used by horses.
Camping is available for $15 at the Copper Lake Road trailhead or in the backcountry, with spots like the Dog Lake primitive shelter and Underdown Lake offering scenic overnight stays. Combining the Underdown and Prairie Dells trails can extend your adventure beyond 30 miles.
In winter, a dedicated snowshoe trail provides fat bikers with a dreamy ride over frozen lakes and bogs. Whether you’re looking for a summer adventure or a winter escape, Underdown has something to offer every outdoor enthusiast.
